How to make you funny?
And you are always funny,
You hide it and
It is still funny,
And that makes me laugh.
How to make you serious?
And you can not be serious,
Funny is funny,
And being seriously funny is not that funny,
And you laugh.
How to tell you a joke?
And you are the funniest joke
That makes you more funny and serious
While you are drinking and thinking
At the risk
Of spilling the juice of your lips
At my laugh.

The Pesky Fly by Gareth Lancaster
I once saw a fly in full flight,
It really was quite an odd sight.
It looped up and down
All over the ground.
Not catch it, could I, as I'd liked!
It dived me from up near the light,
Trying to give me a fright.
It just missed my nose
Then skirted my toes.
It seemed like it wanted a fight!
I finished my food in one bite,
The fly I just kept in my sight.
I opened the door,
Hoping he'd soar,
Off into the darkness of night.
But the fly, he just stayed at my height,
Buzzing around like a kite.
So I ran outside,
The fly also tried,
And behind him I closed the door tight.
So here we are both in the bright
Lamp that's outside shining white.
And then in a flash,
I knew in my dash,
I'd forgotten my key, that's not right!

It was too early for a romance
And already I've received the criticism of the tongue
Not knowing of the true nature of our relationship
Intead it is based on assumption that we're an item
Friends, say that I am no good
And that you're wasting time with me
It'll never amount to what you desire
But that's not how I see things
Because I feel that your just a friend
And nothing else beyond that
People always talk about false information
Should I care what was said? Ain't it funny
Friends whisper unnessary things in your ear
Should I care what was shared? Ain't it funny
You seem somewhat affected, Don't let it get under your skin
You know of our history
Friends always seem to mention
the bad things that I do
When It's none of their business
Ain't it Funny
