My Birthday's On St. Patrick's Day by Kenn Nesbitt
My birthday's on St. Patrick's day.
I wore no green at all,
and got a pinch from every kid
who passed me in the hall.
You get 'a pinch to grow an inch'
whenever birthdays fall.
I guess they must have worked
because I'm thirty-nine feet tall.

Isn't it funny how one grain of salt can become millions?
And how a small dropp of water can later become billions?
Isnt it funny how a couple of tears
can turn into a dread that can last
years and years
And how a heart can break not only in half
but in so many pieces shattered completely
to the point you know it will never be whole again
And it ISNT funny how I love you so much
and how you knew but you were too
distracted by her touch
Oh how I cried and cried about you all the time
and all that pain I felt for you now looking back
seems like a crime
What I hated most was how 'clueless' you were
it pissed me off
because you knew how I felt you just thought
maybe if I act lost she wont think I know
Well, I did and if you still 'dont know'
by now let me clue you in
All that pain and anger I felt?
that was for you
