It is difficult to wake up my daughter every morning. I wrote this for her. It is a song for all kids who find it difficult to wake up in the morning to go to school.
I can stop the rain
I can stop the shine
I can stop my brain
And the blood in my vein…
But time won’t stop
Not even for a cop
It can only gallop
And it’s gone in a blop.
Wake-up dear honey
You can get back money
But time is one-way journey
Make every moment funny.
You will become old
Will look back on your road
Will want to fill the holes
But the path will be closed
Knocking on your doors
Is not the daily chores
It is time in its course
Grab it at the source
Tomorrow is death
Yesterday is dead
Today is the Life
And now it is rife.
