Stand-Up Comedians by Stanley Cooper
Stand-up comedians so funny Joke around to earn their money They’re never funny sitting down
But when standing vertically upright Their comedic humor is out of sight Funny-ing as they act like stand-up clowns
They just can’t be funny or sassy Sitting on their sorry assy’s Perpendicular they invite loud guffaws
And with their joke-around renditions In their stand-around positions They welcome all appreciative applause
When they’re on stage it is behooved To have all the sit-down chairs removed So they can fill the halls with tons of laughter
So these stand-up fools so funny Can earn rafts of funny money The house is filled with laughs up to the rafter

Women Are Funny Creatures by Allan James Saywell
I possess a mind, that has a store Of great mischief, if i would see A former wife asleep, with an open mouth Even though, she was a non smoker I would insert, a lit cigarette In her mouth, then i would awake her And accuse her of smoking She would deny it vigourously With the cigarette, still in her mouth Women are funny creatures

The cherub in inverted spectacles by Jagannath rao Adukuri
The portly gentleman looked at himself In the bathroom mirror and smirked. In the shrill voice of his childhood He made some really funny noises Which luckily merged in cistern sounds. He tried to think simple like child He will go out and pick some berries- Bleeding berries from the red mountain But mother says Banti it is sleep-time Will you now lie on your back and sleep How can one lie on one's back and sleep? It is fun to wear spectacles upside down The world looks so much different. Not for me the complicated transactions These grown-ups are terrible bores. I will now dig deep in uncle's backyard I will find several nuggets of gold there; These teachers are sometimes stupid They ask funny questions in their class. The big gentleman looked at his paunch This time the child is not coming back Everything is once again complicated The cherub in spectacles vanished In the mists of time, not to come back.

Watching the Nurses Station by Jerry Abrahamson
Sometimes, it seems so funny Looking at the nurses station From my fathers hospital room When he's in the hospital
Once in a while one will hay hi And they probable feel funny But, what can you do about it When his room is right aacross From the nurses station
The chair is set just right Do that you can see them And you're not looking at them You're just looking that way
